Florida decided to fly into SLC on Wednesday and leave right after the game. They were told that the less time you spend at high elevation the better. But, a hurricane is to hit Florida on Wednesday. So, now they will fly to Texas on Tuesday and then to SLC on Wednesday. I have to think that this will mess up some of their game-week preparation.

Thanks for the update. Yes, I agree completely…to change plans at such a late stage is never beneficial.

I can only hope additional travel, nights in a hotel, and less time on a field can benefit Utah.

I’m sure it’s got the excuse wagon going already for the Gators.

was it after the Florida game that the team wasn’t able to fly out as scheduled? I think they had to wait at the airport and then find hotels, before flying out the next day.

If so, a little karma going the other way?

I understand that the University of Florida was very helpful in that situation a year ago.

Except it wasn’t Florida’s fault we had a flight delay, so the karma went to the wrong place.

Is the University of Utah responsible for the hurricane? At least Florida has plenty of time to make alternate arrangements
