I’d like to be a fly on the wall in the QB room this week. It’s no secret the QBs have been bad. Benching Wilson and getting the first glimpse of Rose. He is bigger and looks to have better touch and accuracy. Huard is the wild card. Is he ready to play? He has more experience and might be able to read the defense better.

BYU is going to put pressure on Wilson or Rose and make them rush their throws(or hold it too long). Can Huard get the ball out quicker and find the open receiver? Nobody has seen him play so he is an unknown to prepare for.

I would go with Rose or Huard. Wilson is too predictable and easy to defend. Rose is still an unknown but has Wilson’s pocket presence so will be similar to Wilson to defend. Huard is a complete unknown. Does he have the skills to get the ball out quick to the right receiver and make the defense play honest. Any thoughts? Has anyone seen Huard play to know his strengths?

Also, listen to Whitt yesterday talk about Wilson and his injuries. Not just from Houston but all year. I’d honestly be surprised if Rose isn’t under center on November 9th.

Every defense has the blueprint for Wilson. Not enough sample size on Rose to predict. Huard is an unknown. Anyone seen him play and what his skill set is?

Tall. Huge arm. Pretty accurate. As mobile as Peyton Mannning. I honestly don’t know what keeps him from being a D1 starter. He was a 5 star and has nfl dad and uncle pedigree but just never happened. He wasn’t a world beater at his last school Cal Poly but was decent on a bad team. 2,247 yards on 184-of-302 passing with 18 touchdowns in nine starts.

I don’t see him mentioned at all as a possible starter. Rose seems to be in the lead at this point. Is it possible he could surprise us all and play. Jay Hill must be licking his chops right now. Multiple turnovers.

Not to be an ass but anything Whitt says pretty much as it relates to the team is no more valuable than toilet paper I use to wipe my ass with. I am not going to take anything he’s at face value because I don’t know now if he’s truthful or not. He lacks integrity and honesty and has hurt them team. Players don’t respect him.

Whitt has already said it will be Wilson or Rose; Huard seemingly isn’t in the picture unless those two become unplayable.

I think it’s plausible that Whitt guaranteed Wilson his place in the depth chart in order to secure his recruitment. After seemingly whiffing on Zach, there was probably a lot of pressure to secure Isaac’s recruitment. Being basically handcuffed to favoring Wilson even if Rose or Huard are outperforming him in practice would fit the rumors about Wilson acting entitled and coaches/players being frustrated by the QB selection.

Whitt now mentioning Wilson’s injury is possibly an out for him to go with Rose over Wilson.

Pure speculation but I think the Wilson family got what they asked for… guaranteed playing time in exchange for less NIL but it was supposed to be mop up duty in the 4th not leading the platoon on a gimpy leg. Now the squadron leader can’t keep his promises and the comrades are picking sides. Offense, defense and special teams all pulling away from the middle circle.
