Might redirect their anger at this s**tty O-Block
Doesn’t matter what’s called when they play this poorly.

That play bugged me the entire game until the double reverse fake triple on first down.
Classic Ludwig. The screen as well that took forever to develop late. Genius.

That play was a horrible idea that killed a drive that could have won us the game.

It’s everyone. This team doesn’t look prepared and doesn’t look interested. From coaches to players there is no fight. The tackling is awful, the play calling is awful, the effort is awful. There isn’t one thing impressive about this team right now.
I can deal with having an 18 year old at QB(although I’m not sure how we don’t have a better option for this year), but I can’t deal with the pathetic effort everywhere else on the field. This team looks pathetic and I am usually a pretty positive/optimistic fan.

Every blitz has a free runner up the middle. It’s scheme. every team knows exactly what is coming every play. They are reading Ludwig like a book.
Andy Ludwig is a football terrorist. He should be fired after this game. If Whitt wants to go with him then good riddance

Disagree. The first half showed ZERO creativity and TCU spent two weeks preparing for Bernard off tackle. Then when LudWig finally shows some creativity in the 3rd, he goes to nothing but pass play and Kuithe (who is so much slower than he was before). I see dozens of team every week show the ability to adapt, create and execute new exciting plays. But not us.

The terrible performance from the O-line probably decimated Ludwig’s entire game plan. I would imagine he was counting on being able to run the ball at least somewhat efficiently (say around 5 yards per carry). Instead, they gave him less than 3 yards per carry and allowed 4 sacks. To a bad defense. That’s just impossible for anybody to overcome w/ a true freshman QB.
That said, this game was some of the worst play calling I think we’ve ever seen (and that’s saying a lot). The first half was particularly heinous. I feel like everybody and their grandma knew what we were going to do and where we were going to do it. And then when the game is on the line on 4th & 5, we naturally send all our receivers deep b/c that’s just what we do w/ our true freshman QB.
At the end of the day, you can’t put up 7 points and punt 11 times against one of the worst defenses in our conference and then keep your job. He needs to be fired. We are much better than this from a talent standpoint.
