That he’s going to stay, ultimately.

Gach declared for the NBA draft, but with no agent. I am guessing that he will come back to Utah and that he is just getting the free eval to work on his game. Biggest detractor is his strength some scouts say.

I read your headline as a separate sentence than your content so it sounded like word salad to me. LOL

He is testing the waters and did not sign with an agent.  However, it’s not going to be easy to get a good evaluation.  From ESPN:

“The NBA informed teams on Monday that organizations are prohibited from conducting in-person workouts or interviews with draft-eligible players until further notice.”

“NBA teams will be allowed to conduct virtual interviews with draft prospects, but are limited to four hours total for any single player”

“Teams are also prohibited from requesting video of recent workouts that players might conduct outside of a team environment, Teams can study only film — such as college game and practice sessions — that occurred before the NBA’s suspension of play on March 11.”

Nah. He’ll be back. Or maybe he’ll still transfer. But, just getting feedback. In this environment he should just stay.

He has shown flashes of brilliance followed by meh. If he can find a way to be brilliant with more consistency, I believe he can make a run at the NBA. He definitely has a ton of work to do.

He’s going to get a free evaluation and some proffesional feed back on how to improve his game. Smart move, he’ll be back in college ball next year.
