  Since the Honor Code Office Nazis could have kicked him out of BYU-Provo for being gay I am skeptical about how many people he really told about it before he had his degree in hand.

    I am not entirely familiar with the policies there, but I am pretty sure that it is premarital sex that gets someone kicked out of that school–the desire for premarital sex (whether with someone of the same or opposite sex) is not an honor code violation.

      My understanding is that any type of homosexual affection is grounds for dismissal from BYU. So, holding hands as you walk across campus or kissing your significant other of the same gender. However, simply identifying as homosexual will not get you kicked out. I could be wrong, but that is what I have heard.

    Having a degree from BYU doesn’t necessarily mean you’re going to keep that degree.

  Adding to the drama, there has been a least one other confirmed gay Cosmo in the history of the program.
  
  Not sure what it is about dressing up in a questionable-looking cat suit that attracts gay LDS men…
