Watched the ‪#‎GOPDebate‬. First one I’ve watched this time around. Not much into politics but it was interesting to watch. Had some ideas about the candidates and this cleared some things up. Here are my grades on a 1-10 scale, 10 being superior.

Trump: 3.5
Fiorina: 5
Bush: 3
Carson: 3
Cruz: 8
Rubio: 7
Paul: 8
Kasich: 5

Why do you like Cruz so much? Isn’t he a Jesus freak? Cruz also disputes all scientific evidence on anthropogenic climate change. What studies does he use to support this stance? Do you think he’s actually studied the scientific evidence?

I really haven’t followed any of the candidates and don’t know what their stances are. This was my first exposure to most of them, so my grades above are based solely on last night’s debate.

I was in the Trump camp but last night he didn’t really seem to bring anything I haven’t heard before. It’s all kind of rah rah but no details or substance.

I’m disgusted that the vast majority of Republicans apparently don’t believe in science, which is reflected in the candidates’ views.

I just want Rand Paul to win so we can call Ron Paul the “First Dad”. That would be kinda funny. Something tells me THAT First Dad would have a lot more influence than GHWB had over W.

I’d vote for rand or cruze.. If alleged man made climate change is such a big deal for voters then their priorities are screwed up imo.

What is it now? 19 Trillion in debt with no sight to paying it down or even stopping the growth?
