Scalley – F
Ludwig – F
Rising – F
Tavion Thomas – B
How can you look at yourself in the mirror after that performance???!!!!!
I haven’t seen Utah this bad in the regular season in four years.
This is as bad as the Northwestern, Texas and Oregon Conference championship games.
Better find themselves this week or USC is going to roll us 52-6.

There are a lot of hard questions this team has to ask itself. Is this a 10-2 season, or is it 8-4 or worse? 10-2 is probably not even
A champ game berth at this point.tbh, I’m thinking 8-4. Losses to USC and Oregon.

Definitely not a top 10 .. definitely not going to the rose bowl again and slim chance of returning to pac 12 champions … I probably need to take a day or so to reflect this game ; but man .. I’m pi$$ed

Agreed.

Rising id a stud. He mad a mistake on the PI. The fumble was due to a great hit. I would give Rising a B+.

I think you might just be feeling salty because we lost. No way Rising Grades out as an “F”. 287 yards passing 59 yards rushing 2 touchdowns. Sure he threw a pick but perspective please.

the reid penalty for the late hit was the turning point. it would have been punt. the d totally sucked a**. there were sooooo many chunk plays by ucla. the scalley blitz on 3rd and 8 at the 8 (or close to that) was horrible. what do you hope to gain with a sack?

I also thought that PF on Reid turned the tide.

An F for Rising is absolutely ridiculous and gets this post a downvote. He made one very bad decision on the INT. Otherwise he delivered several good throws and two strong TD runs. Also, Yassmin straight up dropped a perfectly thrown TD.
I get that everyone is frustrated, but to give Rising an F is downright zoobish. Guy played a good game. Just because the other QB had an A+ game doesnt make Rising anything less than a B.

Rising has pretty much carried the team all season. He made two mistakes today. Without him we wouldn’t be sniffing anything but our opponent’s jockstraps.

Let me fix that for you:
Rising B+, he kept us in the game.
Scalley deserves his F, got outcoached across the field. For example, he should have known coming into the game and at least by halftime that Fillinger isn’t ready for RPO yet and UCLA was going after him. Gabe Reid should be starting, but Scalley’s stubborn.-
UTE98Participant
Please tell me why he deserves a B+? He obviously has the go ahead to change plays at the LOS. We had a ton of yards, but too many were from broken plays. Rising rushing for two TDs on plays he had to scramble on is lipstick on a pig for not getting the team in the right protection, right call, and does not make up for his interception and fumble. NO TDs passing, that in no way deserves a B+ in my opinion. I’m not saying he doesn’t have heart, but he did not play more than an F today.
Intercept with no TDs – minus one and a half grades
Not getting the coverage play call adjusted – minus one grade
Fumble – minus one grade
That’s an F in my book

I knew to expect most of this, Scalley lost his grip years ago. Ludwig never had a chance, Whitt would ruin any OC.
But damn to have cam regress into a sub-travis wilson QB is pretty s**t
