Hard to see how the “committee” leaves SMU out of the CFP after this performance. Looks like Bama is s**t out of luck this season and DeBoer’s seat grows warmer.

Crazy ending, SMU’s kickoff team has gotta feel absolutely awful after that

Yeah Rick, I thought that SMU left a few ticks on the clock as well before they scored. I’m loving it though…anything to screw with the “committee.”

I’d put SMU ahead of Alabama.

          #1 Oregon <— winner of #8 Penn State v #9 SMU
          #2 Georgia <— winner of #7 Ohio State v #10 Alabama
          #3 Boise <— winner of #6 Notre Dame v #11 South Carolina
          #4 Arizona State <— winner of #5 Texas v #12 Clemson

#13 Syracuse first out. #14 Miami (Fl), #15 Indiana & #17 Tennessee didn’t play tough enough schedules. But the ESPN Invitational will want brand names over resume.

I personally feel that both Indiana and Tennessee are in the CFP. Bama and South Carolina are not.

I think that’s already decided but the committee is rewarding conference membership over schedule. I’d rate Tennessee’s schedule at 112 and Indiana at 120, with South Carolina at 19 and Alabama tied for 5. You don’t need a committee if the only thing that matters is least losses in each conference. Just go with the 3-3-2-2-1 method

      Wow. Special teams matter.

Sidenote: Congrats to TSPP for being the ACC runner up!
Am I doing this right? 😛

Almost. The parochial school was undefeated this year because they gained more yards than Kansas and scored more points in the 2nd half than Arizona State.
