ParticipantFor Senior Day: (Speculation) just based on things Ive heard or things players have said in the past. Obviously things can change.
1. PLedger – Goes to NFL – I think he goes, has a little baby, has played in big time college ball, has enough tape.
2. Thomas – I think he declares, but comes back (speculation) Whit has said he needs to learn to better pass block and catch out of the back field (2 things Pledger deos very well at)
3. Covey -He Gone. Love him.
4. Howard – Senior
5. Kuithe – He Gone – Good for him.
6. Alli N – Senior
7. Nick Ford – He Gone – Good for him
8. Bam – Senior – Prob played himself into the NFL
9. K. Markroff – Senior already has a pro job playing football
10. Devin L – He Gone – Good For Him
11. V. Moala – senior
12. H Putatua – Senior
13. V Davis – Senior
14. B. Mckinney – Semior
15. T. Young Smith – Senior ( has been here as long as Covey)

ParticipantT-Boney has been a Ute longer than Covey! Hope he plays Friday and gets a reception. That’d be AWESOME!

ParticipantI’ll take a wild guess and say that Ford is back for one more to solidify his stock. I’d say you’re right about covey but I give it 25% chance Covey comes back.

ParticipantAlso, won’t moala come back and at least get a med-red?

ParticipantI bet Thomas and pledger are back

ParticipantThis is one of the least likely options given that he is the 2nd best draft eligible player behind only Lloyd. Wasn’t he getting late round grades last year, but then decided to come back this year to solidify his stock? I don’t think he’ll be a first or second rounder, but he should have a shot to prove himself as a rotational/depth guy this year in the league.

ParticipantI do not know anything and have no inside info. Just my two cents:
Lloyd will be a top-ten draft pick. He would be stupid to stay.
Ford will probably go and be about a 4th rounder.
Covey will leave because he wants to give the NFL a try and move on with his life.
I doubt Kuithe would be a top 5 round pick. It may be good for him to stay. But, I think he will leave.
Does Bam have any eligibility left? If so, I think it would be good for him to stay.
I am not sure about Kincaid and Fotheringham.
Pledger should go IMO.
Tavion is eligible to go and may do so. However, like Kuithe – I think his stock will go up if he stays.

ParticipantThe roster has Tavion listed as a Sophmore. Don’t you have to be at least a Junior to declare for the draft?

PNW Ute
ParticipantYou have to be out of high school for at least 3 years, but not necessarily be a Junior. He’s only a sophomore by eligibility, but he spent two seasons at Cincy and now one at Utah, so he would techinally qualify for the draft.

Central Coast Ute
ParticipantHe spent one at Cincy, one JC, and one at Utah.

ParticipantHe’s played for the required 3 years. 1 at Cincinnati, 1 at JUCO, and this year with Utah.

ParticipantI thought Covey was gone for sure, but last week’s conversation with Covey radio interview made me question that.
There were two things he said he would feel bad if he didn’t give a try:
The NFL
Coaching (I think he will be great)
Somehow the way he talked about the NFL made me feel like, If he grades out in a way that there is a better chance at the NFL by playing another year, he might be back.
Before listening to that interview I was 99% positive he was gone for sure, but that discussion made me question my assumption.
