Harlan says entire football team traveling to Texas

to attend the funeral for Aaron Lowe.  Good for the university for doing this.  They will fly out for the funeral Monday morning and return that night.  It also sounds like Alaska Airlines is working with the university to make this happen.

This will make a short week of prep for the ASU game.  At least we are at home.

On last night’s Coaches Show, Whitt said he met with Aaron Lowe’s Mom when she came up to Utah to handle the aftermath of the tragedy. Whitt said he asked her if she would like to come and speak to the team. And she did on Monday at the end of practice as their special guest speaker.

I thought that was amazing. I just can’t imagine as a parent losing one of your kids and then having the strength to go and do something like that. Whitt said it meant a lot to the team to hear from her and was quite the moment.

Hope they don’t run into any severe weather.  Severe thunderstorms are being forecasted for Sunday in North Texas.
