The Miami UteParticipant
Arizona hasn’t won a game since they beat Utah at RES 23-10. They’re 3-6 and in a five-game tailspin. Upper-level tickets at Arizona Stadium in Tucson are selling on the secondary market for $2. The Wildcats surrendered 56 points in their last game vs. UCF. Last season’s success under Jedd Fisch seems like a long ago dream. We’re not the only ones with major problems.

Sad to think they owned us at our place, in dark mode bla bla bla.
-
AnferneeParticipant
Dark Mode is the current state of Utah football.

We are worse off though since Arizona beat us at home. 🙂

The Miami UteParticipant
I don’t know about that…Arizona’s only other victories this season are home victories versus New Mexico and Northern Arizona (which was a closer games than the Utah vs Arizona game). And, I sincerely doubt that any team will put up 56 points against Utah like UCF did last weekend. My view is that they were extremely fortunate versus Utah (remember those three drives deep into AZ territory that only netted 3 points) and Fifita, as last year, played completely out of his mind. He also hasn’t been nearly as effective since the game versus Utah.

Yeah, I agree. I was mostly joking with that comment.

Fifita only plays well against us because we didn’t offer him. He turns back into a pumpkin against everyone else
-
The Miami UteParticipant
LOL…maybe we can offer him after this offseason and have him be our superhero. He surely isn’t leading Zona to the promised land and the NFL is over it’s short QB fad.
-
UM4GParticipant
I’d seriously be in favor of them making him an offer. Any idea how many years he has left?
-
The Miami UteParticipant
I believe that he’s a RS Sophomore, so at least two seasons after this one if I’m correct. That being said, the Utah game excepted, he’s having a relatively rough season, throwing for almost as many INTs as TDs. Last year, he threw for 25 TDs with 6 INTs. So far this year, he’s thrown for only 13 TDs with 10 INTs. In addition, his completion percentage has really taken a dive, going from well over 72 percent to just over 61 percent. That’s called a regression to the mean, I would think.

I think it’s called “no Jacob Cowing or Tanner McLachlan and Dino Babers as OC”
-
The Miami UteParticipant
Dino Babers was so good at Eastern Illinois and Bowling Green…you’d think that once a coach failed at a higher-level program, he’d realize he was better off in G-5 land.

Amazing he’s having a down year with that #4 receiver they have. But I did see that dude take plays off.
-
The Miami UteParticipant
McMillan is having a monster season (already gone for well over 1000 yards receiving) and is easily going to be a Top 15 pick in next year’s NFL Draft. Just goes to show that one superstar can’t carry a team.
