Have found our identity after first three games?

The age old football adage : “they haven’t found their identity yet”. 2021 was power running game , tight ends and Cam making plays with his feet. Same with 2022. 2023 with Cam out we never found our identity.

2024 after three games our identity looks like “the throw game”. We don’t have a power running game and Cam is limited with running ability. Our strength is in our WRs and tight ends and an experienced Cam that can get the ball to them. Plus our backup QB can run the same offense if called upon. Our new identify bodes well for a playoff run.

I think Saturday told us the throw game is key. The first two drives where we tried to establish the run showed us that. It didn’t help that everyone in the country knew we were going to run it. But even still, it wasn’t until Lud let Wilson start throwing the ball that the game opened up. Cam or Wilson, it doesn’t matter. We have to open Saturday up with throwing the ball off a play action.

We will run off of the pass this year no question. Our run game will get better and better though with YPC going over the 4.9 avg it’s at through 3 games.
