They need a player who can handle the ball and has quick first steps. Somebody that can get to the rim or drive and kick. It opens up some much more of the offense when you have a player like that. I thought Gabe could take on more of that role this year but he can’t hold on to the ball when he dribbles into any semblance traffic. It definitely a guard driven league and game now, Utah just doesn’t have one that causes the controlled havoc that is needed

So many people use to give Worster crap at how slow he is. But man he was smart with the ball and set up the scorers very well.

Worster was by far our greatest loss in the transfer market. Wasn’t a player to have a 30pt triple double but was a consistent contributor who pretty much every single game had a good number of assists and rebounds and a handful of baskets and made relatively few errors. Never had any 2 for 14 games or had 5+ turnovers.

Smart efficient player who made wise decisions and ran the floor well.

We have not had a decent point since Delon Wright. Davon had flashes late last year but was not consistent. Men’s college basketball is a guard dominated game. We are in a conference with some really top notch guard-driven teams and our record shows our deficiencies big time.
