I got an email from him three or four days ago about the status of the site.

I sent him one asking if he knew the site was down. He said he was aware and the tech people were working on it.  I sent a reply back and he never replied.

I could possibly fix it, but at the least I’d love to get the database so I can archive all the posts as some kind of historical record.

I was thinking of writing a scraper to grab the posting history before it goes offline.

Terrible news. Chris was a great guy. I didn’t know him well but I know medical problems plagued him the past few years. Lost a great Utefan today.

Tragic. While frustrated with the demise of UF.N, I was rooting for him to pull through on everything. He was a good guy. This is really hard to believe right now.

Holy crap! We just lost my cousin who was 35 in December. That is crazy.

I’ve been freaking out calling family because I don’t believe much of what I read on facebook. I wish it was a facebook lie but it’s true. I don’t know what to say, this is s**tty. We’re having dinner with our grandpa today for his 93rd birthday. Chris was his first grandchild, grandchildren shouldn’t go before their grandparents.

Horribly sad. I wish he could have pulled himself out of it and gotten healthy.

I met Chris 2-3 times and tailgated with him three seasons back at the season opener. This is just very sad. Chris was polite and kind to me. I have watched his struggle from a distance this last couple of years. There but for the grace of God go I, and us all.
