Then all G5 should move to 8 conference games and they should schedule 4 P5 schools a year.

The simple fact is, G5 teams aren’t deep enough to survive a P5 schedule. It’s not fair to let UCF or Boise in because they beat up a terrible slate of schools sans one, over a two loss Ohio State team, who had to play #2 Oklahoma and 9 other P5 schools.
The grind is real. We, as Utah fans in the MWC, were wrong.
If the G5 doesn’t like it, they should do what June Jones (I think) said; split off, play in the spring, and have a playoff late spring. If their season went March to May or Feb to April, they could hold a playoff then.
They’d make more money that they are making now.
