Meanwhile Utah threw the ball 37 times and ran the ball 26 times.

I’m thinking our coaches don’t have confidence in our run game. Bernard only had 14 carries.

This could have been an easy win. We just don’t have the running backs. Not the Utah football I’m used to seeing.

I don’t know. Glover sure looked good for the 1-2 plays he was in. LOL. And I don’t think the o-line has been blocking very well… I mean, you can go down the entire list of positions and almost none of them are doing well, except for a couple like Kuithe and Bernard.

Yeah. So why didn’t we run the ball more? Inquiring minds want to know.

The rate at which Utah wants to throw is alarming. It was like 40-50 pace if they could sustain drives. But they can’t so it turns out like it has.

Bernard was not running effectively. Line wasn’t getting great blocks and he just hasn’t run with the same vigor since the ASU game. He had two good carries that bumped up his yards per carry quite a bit including the touchdown.
