I knew he had to be a cool cat to stay here despite all the turmoil and struggles, but there were things in this story I’d never heard.

We are so, so, so fortunate to have this guy. I mean, wow.

There was a really cool moment in the second episode of The Drive where the backs are in the film room and DE says to one of the backups something like, “This is your only chance to be on tv, so shut the hell up.” Which cracks up a bunch of the guys. You can tell he has a great relationship with the players.

I always see him wearing one of his NC ring’s at Fiddlers Elbow drinking a bud light at the bar. I’ve always wanted to sit down to him and talk to him. After reading this maybe I will. Guy is a stud, and he’s pulling recruits from Florida. As long as he’s doing that and producing talented back’s he can stay as long as he wants IMO

I’ve heard second hand from a source in the program (airport discussion) that DE has had his issues with Whitt and was nearly on the verge of leaving, but has since patched that up. I sure hope he sticks around because his ability to recruit skill position players has been unmatched and his ability to coach them is very evident.

I wonder if it had anything to do with Dave Christensen? It wouldn’t surprise me if Dennis knew all along what a Dick head Dave is. It seems to me there was something in an article that made me think Dennis was unhappy about something and It was around the time Dave became separated from the Utah program.
