It seems like four or five teams are beginning to dominate the landscape in college football. Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma.
What do you think the NCAA could do to level the playing field?
Make them play FBS only and 9 conference games.
No more neutral site only games either. Yes it will mean less money for FCS and probably kill a bunch of body bag schools but oh well. I think they should have a rotation of OOC games amongs G5 and P5 programs expand the playoff. Done!
Expand the playoff to 8 teams. Saban doesnt want it. SEC doesnt want it. That alone should tell you a lot.
An 8 team playoff with P5 champ auto-bids opens up gives far more programs a realistic playoff sales pitch for recruits.
Even then the amount of travel for an SEC and ACC vs the rest of the conference? Not fair comparisons.
…moved to football category.
Cut scholarships down. Gives them less mistakes to make when recruiting.

With all of the money flowing to the SEC and its lack of academic requirements compared to PAC 12 schools I don’t expect the gap to be closed soon.
