ASU may not be world-beaters, but they have decent talent and coaching. Plus they’re coming off an exciting last-minute win against KU, which gives them some momentum.
And maybe it’s the UA loss hangover amplified by our QB situation, but it is tough to feel fully confident in a victory. That said, if we can contain Skattebo, we could eke out a win, with a performance similar to the Ok St game. Overall, I see this is as a toss-up. How’re you feeling about tomorrow’s game?

The boost Cam gives is pretty significant. For the offense, defense, fans etc. He’s the alpha and it shows by everyone’s energy. I would say toss-up if Isaac was starting. I’m not overlooking ASU but if Cam is Cam, I say Utah by at least 10.

I’m with you Anfernee. I put my money on the Utes -6. I think they cover the spread easily. Cam will spark the whole team and they win by 14+. Go utes

Just not good. I’m sorry to say it but I think we lose. Been a tough year and a half to be an Utah fan honestly. Yes, lots of fan bases would love to be us but with the expectation placed on this team from players, coaches, us fans, the local and national media, it is very hard to be positive

AnferneeParticipant
If you can’t be positive with the news of us getting our field general back, being 4-1 ranked #16 and all of our goals still obtainable, I can’t help ya.

*KU, not TTU…..They actually lost to TTU.
-
SalUteopiaParticipant
You’re right; they won against KU, and lost to TTU. I watched both the highlights back-to-back, hence the confusion.

D TParticipant
It’s pretty simple…..Do what TTU did to them in their only loss & corral their RB/QB in their rushing attack & the game’s ours.
We have the ability to shut it down.

I’m assuming Wilson plays. I’d say we have a 60/40 chance of winning, and that’s with having an extra week of preparation and healing, as well as ASU missing two players in the first half due to targeting penalties. I still think we win because we match up better against their offense, and yes, that’s despite Arizona somehow running for a lot against us. I think ASU will score anywhere from 17-21 against us. Do we score more than 21? I hope so. If we can’t and we lose this game, I expect us to go 7-5 on the season with losses to BYU, Colorado, and ISU.

I’m not trying to get you to 6-6 but after losing to the parochial school, Colorado and then Iowa State you think they’ll go across the country on a short holiday week and beat UCF? I suppose getting a better bowl slot would be something to play for but you’d think the team would have pretty much packed it in at that point

If Rising plays, I don’t see us losing. If Wilson plays, I think it’s a tossup and will depend on Skattebo’s yards per carry. It’ll be really hard to win if we can’t hold him to less than 5 yards per carry. For now, I’m hoping for Rising but planning on Wilson.
