But there were two calls last night that really p**s me off. The holding call that caused Whitt to get a penalty and the PI against JJ. It’s just amazing to me how PAC12 refs can be so bad and nothing is done to change it.

Oh well… I still think we are a 4 loss team this year with or without bad officiating. I drank the Kool-aid again. One day I’ll learn my lesson.

That PI was rediculous, not sure how you would coach him to defend differently.  Look back toward the ball more?  They were being way too ticky-tack with holding and some of the unsportsmanlike penalties on both sides.   On the latter I suppose they were trying to keep the chippy stuff from getting out of hand, but let them play.

99 should have had a target evaluation on his second unnecessary roughness. Just the way I saw it personally. He was late on a lot of pile ups and very chippy.

The holding call where Whitt got flagged ended up being meaningless. Same as Whitt’s flag because USCs penalties drove Utah down. Then Utah fumbles on that drive before half. The PI was a big deal and was flagged at the three or four from the additional hand check by JJ. I can see why it was flagged. Don’t agree with it considering the push offs USC got by the offense.

They were so bad on both sides. In the stadium it really got to the point where both sets of fans were groaning some of the calls that went against the other team. The refs got booed off the field after the game. PAC 12 must have called up the Hollywood crew for a big performance. #BS

Well they were consistent, but that methodology makes a game unwatchable.
