  Is this a move to put an end to the NCAA investigation? If it is, then I’m guessing the stuff that has been reported is just the tip of the iceburg much like when that Busby guy suddenly “retired” from his dream job.

    Could be that the NCAA investigaters are looking back to find out when he started getting benefits from Tyndall, possibly back into last season.
    
    SL Tribune article mentions that BYU first was told of allegations in spring.

  withdrawing from school. not just the team, but the school. so much for the student part of student athlete.
