What the difference between running into and roughing the kicker is. Looked to me like Bouwmeester got tackled right on his plant leg…

Also the refs GTFOutta there real quick in Toyota siennas with a police escort.

The refs blew the call, plain and simple. It happens.

It was a bad call- but would it have made a difference? We would have had one more set of downs before we punted again?

Nah, don’t think it changes the outcome – but roughing is a player safety issue and if you confer and come up with running into the kicker as a conclusion there, you’re a s**tty ref.

One thing I’ve noticed about the big 12 refs is they seem to allow more physical play, especially in the secondary. We don’t seem to be adjusting to it well

It was a horribly officiated game. Didn’t have anything to do with the outcome. I will say PI just isn’t a thing in the Big12. You can hold and grab WR that beat you all over the field. I went back and saw Utah doing it a few times as well.

Second to last play had a horrible block in the back which would have maybe lead to a punt by TCU. Utah offense still wouldn’t get it done.
Singer is being tackled most of the time on his routes. Zona showed you can do this to Utah with zero repercussion’s.

I also think they missed a face mask on Wilson late in the game.

my only thought was that since the defender hit him in the back, instead of the leg, it was running into.
