Backside view is really cool. Leki Fotu reading the eyes of Daniels. Just amazing defense.
Also based on those two videos and that other highlight video I posted looks like Hans is using it.
Tupai hit. Crazy that a DE opposite side of the formation. No quit!

I agree, these videos have been really interesting.
I’d also add the Max Browne breakdowns on Youtube as something to watch.

I’ve never seen better mid-week commentary. I wish football journalists did more of this.
I wonder what it would take to get Hans some better equipment though.
-
CincyUteParticipant
Could you imagine PK trying to do something like this? LOL. There are football journalists and then there are “football journalists.”

EagleMountainUteParticipant
Calling anyone a journalist now days is a joke.

I don’t know PK–I’m not in Utah. Most of the people invovled in covering football don’t seem to cover much football. (I get it: there’s only a few hours of it a week.) So instead they cover things that don’t have much to do with the game like kneeling, someone’s twitter account, sometimes trades when they happen. So there’s demand for more info, but it’s not easy for a journalist to provide it.
So I’d love to see more commentary on what happens on the field during games. I’ve never played, never sat in film study, and have no idea what players do during the week to prepare for gameday or post-mortem the week before. Hans explains the techinical minituae in simple terms that anyone who watches football can appreciate. And he does it with almost no equipment. It’s really impressive work.
Here’s other examples of work I appreciate. One similar Hans. One not.

No. I imagine him sputtering nonsense and laughing like a jackass at his own stupidity.

I do my best to actually go to the YouTube site and upvote and comment. It his unbelievable that no one has thrown videos together like this before. I don’t see eye to eye with him on many things, but I love hearing him talk about football. Thanks, Hans.

NarfUteParticipant
I wish he’d format them differently (IE one video per team) I think his view count would go up and you could actually subscribe to him. Blasting a bunch of videos for all the instate teams makes it hard to follow as a subscription, but I still go and watch them all
-
EagleMountainUteParticipant
Yeah or even turn it into a playlist so you could click one link for the entire game.

Love this video. While Hans is great with the tactics and actions in each play Browne has a great break down of the strategy.
-
WhittyParticipant
Love the part at 7:18 of the video where the 3 USC linebackers are fumbling in confusion
