      I had resisted paying for a subscription.  But purchased a 1 year subscription today.

      They are offering 1 year (52 weeks) for $52 ($1 per week) over the holiday.

      I check the Trib site and app out of habbit and run into the paywall enough that it became more an annoyance than anything.  I am also glad we have another local news outlet (other than just KSL.com/Desnews).

      For me, it has value I was willing to purchase.

      You can go back to blowing $#!+ up now.

      Thanks for supporting the local paper, i have done the same thing as well. I’m not sure why someone would thumbs down this post when the other option in Salt Lake City is much worse.
