      I think being ranked 12th is about right.  We are the ONLY four-loss team in the top-twenty and there is only one three-loss team ranked above us (Mississippi at 11).

      We started the season poorly, fixed some things, and ended strong.  It’s not how you start the season that counts (coug fans), it is how you finish.

      I am happy to see our neighbors up north (USU) end the season ranked.  They had a very unexpected positive season.  Good for them!

      This is a very good final ranking. Lots of respect from the voters despite the Rose Bowl loss. Winning a P5 league and going toe-to-toe with a very good blue blood team in a NY6 bowl is a very good season, and the voters recognize that.

      Utah could be pre-season top 10 with everyone that’s returning.
