I wonder how ESPN and Fox Sports feel about this spending spree?

  Considering they signed off on the pro rata clause in their contract with the BigXII, they probably signed off on the addition(s), and this means they can pay 1 to 4 Pac schools 31 million each instead of paying 10 Pac schools 20+ million, I’m guessing they are fine with it.

    According to the article below, the pro rata clause only guarantees up to 20 million or so, not the full 31 million. Having seen how dishonest the B12 has been so far, Colorado and any others that jump to their arms may find the grass isn’t all that much greener there.

      There’s no way Colorado is jumping without knowing that in advance. Which begs the question, just how bad are the offers for the Pac-12 media deal?

      The $20 million is ESPN’s portion. The other $11 million is Fox’s portion, which has been confirmed to be agreed by Fox as well

      So yes, Colorado is getting the for $31 million for media rights. Now the question, is how many more schools will Fox agree to pay that amount for?
