They played great D. And looked like they knew where to go and what they were doing. They were able to inbound hte ball. And look like a bunch of underdogs. A.C. beat Texas in the toruney last year. They arent scrubs. Good Win. I hope that Utah Ball can get turned around.

Great D??? What game were you watching? They played hard yes… but they allowed a ton of penetration. Jenkins is an awful defender.

The one where we held a well coached opponent to 38% from the field and under 60 pts.

        That’s good d.

Are we elite or something? Dunno.. maybe not.

        But we played well tonight

Like I said, it was good effort defense, but they have to play smarter. The guards really struggled to keep their man in front of them, and the bigs were not in position to help properly. The defense was by no means bad, but it wasn’t great either. Where we did succeed was making sure every shot was at least contested. No major lapses defensively, that is a major improvement from last year.

Again, good effort, nothing terrible, but not great defense.

Yes. Out rebounded the other team 55-29 and held them to 19% from 3pt. Advanced metrics say stop the 3 and limit the free throw attempts and Utah accomplished both.if you run guys off the 3 it’s going to open up some lanes to drive but taking away the higher ppp is the way to go.

Two categories the Utes under Kryskos helm were poor at.
offensive rebounding and three point % defense.
