But a few things are clear.

      1. Whit was very clear that o-line was a concern. But because of talent, but because they haven’t played together this year due to injuries. That showed.
      2. Bernard is our only real RB. And although he’s getting better. He’s not great. Not consistent Ute back great. Maybe he’ll be that guy.
      3. our WRs wet the bed. We have no alpha. Same story different year. I just thought we’d have one this year.
      4. our D which lost a lot two years ago played in its first hostile environment with people and looked rattled. It’s good and bad. I think it anuthkg it will want them up.
      5. I’ll trust Whit. His teams usually bounce back. SDSU isn’t terrible. That game will tel a lot.

finally, happy for Kalani, the streak was going to end eventually. I didn’t think it would be tonight

You simply aren’t paying attention to Bernard.  YPC in his career has to be around 7-8 yds.  Just needs more touches, needs to be given the full workload.

Oline, Dline, passing game are biggest concerns in that order. Hard to tell what root cause(s) are in passing game…is it just the oline?

Defense hasn’t had a pass rush since Anae left.  Tafua is a run defender.  It will be a long year without a pass rush.  Won’t get the turnovers.  Do we have an edge rusher on this team?

12 carries for 146 tonight?  No fumbles?   Bernard looked awesome last year too.  The only problem was no one noticed because of a guy name Ty Jordan (RIP) .   Bernard can be the guy.  Remember Jon White?   He was much smaller.
