Florida’s QB2 just went out with what looks like a season ending injury and their QB1 tore his ACL this season. I guess we aren’t the only ones.

Obviously Whitt’s fault. He has shown neither ability nor desire to adapt to the new game. Now he has screwed the Gators.

What about their starting safety, starting LB, three starting D Linemen and third string QB who hasn’t played a single snap? Have they all had season ending or half season ending injuries?

and with all that, their 3rd string QB just ran a nice two-minute drill for a score against a top 15 defense that shut down Ewers

A lot has by discussed the past few days on the topic of injuries.
One thing I have noticed that may contribute to the reason is the size and athleticism on the players, particularly on the lines of scrimmage. They are bigger and quicker, and they hit harder. The line backers and running backs are the same. I don’t think the coaching, and the preparation has caught up to these changes. There are new medical treatments, but this is after the injury. Coaching needs to catch up but there is only so much they do to prevent injuries.
