      Need more info. Is this showing which sport people prefer playing? Prefer watching? Want their kids playing? Enjoy attending?

      I believe it’s which term is searched for more on Google recently.

      That’s what Google Trends does. It presents information about what terms and phrases are being searched for the most in specific geographic areas.

        What time period is it based on?   “American” football is in the off season, whereas the MLS season started last weekend so here in Utah who has a team, would expect a lot of interest in soccer right at the moment.

          It’s from today’s Wall Street Journal Daily Shot, so I’d imagine it has to be done in the last day or two.

            Fairly certain Utah hasn’t been a blue state in quite a long time.
