I almost pulled the trigger on setting up trip preseason when the game looked like a big one. Now I am extremely grateful I can watch it from the comfort of my home.
It’s one of the Big12 destinations that was intriguing. We considered it, but glad we didn’t book. We were interested to see how our first season in this conference went before traveling.
I’m here. Booked the trip on Sep 27th when we were 4-0 and ranked 10th. What a mistake that was. Got to do Disney with the fam at least which my daughter loved so that part was worth it.
I was really looking forward to @UCF with 2 cousins that went there and live in FL and now my parents snowbird there. But it wouldn’t have been the whole family and other travel partners weren’t going to do it due to Thanksgiving, so it fell through. Glad it didn’t work out I guess, but sad we are 4-7 going into it rather than the hoped for 10-1 or something. Thought OSU and UCF would be our #1 and #2 hardest games. Wow, was that wrong.
I’m going. Been at Disney all week. I’ve run into a couple of fans everyday here. Should be a small cadre of us there given what I’ve seen in the parks.
As dissatisfied as we all are with the season, we only get 12 or so of these games a year.
Here with my fellow Ute friend and bought the tickets back in Sept and was super excited. I got offered tickets to LSU vs. Oklahoma for this weekend and thought about it for 2 mins because the whole trip would have been paid for but stayed true. Hope we at least show up
