  I’m excited. I was hoping Huntley would be Troy out. I feel Huntley adds a dynamic to our O that we don’t have with Williams.

  I’m cautiously optimistic. If Huntley is #1, then the coaches must believe he can run the offense better. I hope Troy Williams sticks around as I think he’ll still get plenty of playing time. Personally, I’d like to see them each take a half against UND, if for nothing else but for us fans to see how they each do.

  Not sure I like this pick. I’d feel a lot more comfortable with an experienced QB in big game situations. Troy has proven that he can lead big drives in tight situations and he obviously has the players’ confidence given his captaincy. I fear Huntley will get rattled on the road and make mistakes.
  
  Also, how does Troy respond if Huntley were to go down with an injury? Putting him at #2 on the depth chart has to be a pretty big blow to his confidence.
  
  But, I’m not a coach and I haven’t been at practice. So hopefully I’m wrong.

    I like it. We saw TW last year and know what we would get. This means we got an upgrade. That being said, I’m guessing we will still see a lot of TW this year. Regarding split between team captain and starter, Huntley got almost as many votes as TW.

  Wow.
  Don’t want to lose TW, but if Troy Taylor feels that Huntley is a better fit for his offense… wow.
  This is going to be one seriously interesting season.

    Where would Troy go? It would have to be FCS, it would be days before the season started, etc.
    
    Troy’s biggest hope is to overtake Huntley.
