Is it wrong that my heart and mind have already moved over to the Basketball

I’m really interested to see how runnin utes basketball is this season. I also am way excited to see how the Jazz played last night. If the Utes can pull it together and win 3 more games this season we will be lucky. When I see a defensive team like the Jazz last night play shut out defense against the Thunder it makes me excited. Seeing all the athleticism on the runnin Utes team the other night makes me think we will be better than last year. I am sorry to all you football fanatics but I must divert my attention elsewhere or else I will get depressed.

I don’t think it’s wrong, only two things saved my day yesterday, okay one happened today.

Colorado laying an egg, and watching the Utah women’s v-ball team against USC. Even though they lost, at least they fought to the end, and made a great comeback in the first set.

Basketball, I’m not sure I can handle that yet.

My heart and mind never left basketball. Maybe that’s why I don’t take the football losses as hard as some others.

I think we’ll be mediocre this year. But the next two years, watch out*.

I am with you.  Football is only a signal that basketball is coming.  The Utes will be much better defensively this year and I think that they will be in the top four again.  Johnson, Bealer, VanDyke and Barefield will have breakout years.  Tillman is also going to play a lot of minutes and is a rebounding monster.  Go Utes.
