Sorry, this may not be the place to ask, but does anyone know if its dead? I loved the place but it may have been time.
-
Tacoma UteParticipant
Maybe. What is Monkey’s middle name? I’m hoping and praying the Chris Evans in the current inmate lineup is a different one but I’m not too confident.
-
UTE98Participant
Sadly the charges, seem to match his history. None of us wish him ill, however having had some discussions with him in the past, I’d say 95% chance it’s him.
-
UteusmcParticipant
What, what?? He is in jail….. for what?
-
Tacoma UteParticipant
*If* it’s him 3 intoxication charges and a DV charge. Again, I don’t know if it’s him and I hope it’s not!

UteFanaticParticipant
If the charges are accurate, he is in for some difficult times. He claimed he couldn’t hold a job due to his medical issues. Couple that with his current list of charges, and he may never find employment again.
-
-
UteFanaticParticipant
Maybe when he gets out of jail he’ll resurrect it.
-
Tacoma UteParticipant
Yeah. Never mind the website. I just hope he can dig himself out of this and get healthy and happy.

What are the charges against him?
-
UteFanaticParticipant
See Tacoma Ute’s response above.

Not sure if I’m reading Facebook correctly but it appears to me he posted there 12 hrs ago. Essentially saying he’s aware of the problems on the site and is working to fix them. Dunno
-
Tacoma UteParticipant
That is good news. Perhaps it’s a different C Evans in the inmate roster? I hope.

It’s essentially dead by being down on a gameday vs a big opponent. The floodgates are broken now. Most people have already migrated. He should have sold it while it was worth something.
-
leftyjaceParticipant
If it’s him, he posted bail on. $1,070 bond. Sounds like the $1,112 was just enough – again, if it was him.

Virginia UteParticipant
Looks like that UFN fund raiser was timed well.

I don’t know if it was him in jail or not. I enjoy both sites. I hope both are robust and successful
-
leftyjaceParticipant
Not putting him on the spot, but IrieUte had a post earlier where he said Chris was in jail. That has since been removed.
With the post on Facebook, it’ll be interesting to see if the traffic on this site (which has been FABULOUS, by the way) maintains or goes down some as the regular UF.N crowd migrates back over.
-
Tacoma UteParticipant
I wonder if he made the FB post or someone close to him?
-
EUteParticipant
I believe IrieUte is his brother.
-
Tacoma UteParticipant
I’ll go back if it comes back up but this has become my go-to site.
-
89uteParticipant
I won’t. I will not enable. He shows no signs of getting himself together. He’s harming property and people. DUI/smashing a parked car around City Creek, continued intoxication charges now coupled with assault.
I will not support his site. I have supported him, but it’s time he supports himself and shows he can be a productive member of society.

I hear ya 89 but I am not exactly a saint. I’ve got my own problems. I hope he (and I) pull it together.
-
Tacoma UteParticipant
Thanks guys!!!

BadbaduteParticipant
So is it confirmed that Chris was in jail? I have a hard time with large changes… I was one of the first to register here but still went to UFN just because I have for almost 15 years now… I don’t post NEARLY as much as I did years ago but I still read all the sites daily
