Just announced on X a few minutes ago. Once again, I can’t post a link. Search for @Isaac_kawika if you want to see it.

The prodigal son returns…his so called departure was the biggest engineered hoax since the Cardiff Giant.

There’s a valuable lesson to be learned here: The grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

I am just guessing here that he has significant other not really prepared for long distance.

I was hoping Rose was the one coming back.

Yeah, for me, my first thought when he entered the portal was disappointment. Because of the reps and time investment in Wilson, now I’m glad there is a chance to see if the Utes can see any future returns on that investment in Wilson.

Well, he will help with QB depth and hopefully at this point he will get a chance to actually learn the system before getting thrown out as the starting QB in the third game of the season. Here’s hoping that any playing time he gets in the future he is both prepared for as well as earned. Now knowing that his options are limited unless he vastly improves his performance, hopefully a change of attitude will come along with it as well. Maybe just a little maturity and age will help that aspect too.

Put your head down , keep your mouth shut, learn to grow and trust the process.. can he do that? Idk he has a lot of growing up to do

Wilson has a very strong arm. He was thrown to the wolves as a young freshman.(four years out if 8th grade Rick M.)
As he matures and becomes part of the team, I believe he will be very good. Time will tell. I’m glad he’s back, it was the best decision for his development. Expectations are lowered a bit.

I can see potential in him but nothing even remotely close to worth keeping on someone that divides the locker room. Nowhere close at all. Hopefully he changes

Utah coaching staff banking on a huge attitude/personality change from Isaac. Lets see if it happens

Good for Isaac and terrific for our program. I hope he takes a redshirt year to take care of his health, develop his body and learn the offense. I know first hand that the team – both coaches and players – are thrilled he is back.

There’s definitely positives to it. Talented 4* recruit out of high school, got a lot of experience last year (hopefully learned a lot), and showed us some glimpses of his potential. And it’s nice to have more depth at that position.

I’m not sure what to believe regarding the “attitude” and “culture” problems we’ve heard about all year? Was all of that true? And then the weird decision to make him second string (when he clearly should’ve been third string behind Rose). When he went out there, it just looked like the team didn’t want to play for him (but they would play for Rose or Bottari). Based on these things, I thought it’d be good to clean house and have a fresh start. If somebody is a cancer in the locker room, they will do way more bad than good. Obviously, the coaches are excited to have him back so I guess we have to trust them. How do you know the players are excited too?

Clearly nobody wanted him in the portal. I’m not sure this is great news?

No thanks. I’ve liked every Utah quarterback in the last 20 years. They haven’t all been great but I’ve liked them. Wilson is different. It’s an attitude thing. Hopefully he transfers next year.

I dunno.. he’s got to work his ass off and prove he’s not a spoiled brat on the one hand while not seemingly he’s making a show of working his ass of and not being a spoiled brat. And on the other that he’s as talented as advertised, which includes overcoming some horrendous play as the year went on and on top of that not be a cancer on the locker room.

Fair or not to him or to the program this is a divorce that might have been better for all parties.
