Isaac Wilson to BYU?

Locked on Big 12 is reporting that Wilson is headed to BYU. If true, that’s the best case scenario for him. Also, if true, it’s going to be interesting how Wilson takes getting zero playing time behind Retzlaff.

byu will probably be the only p4 to give him a chance. All of my friends who are byu fans don’t want him. I’m sure the online portion of their fans would think it’s a sign of the second coming of Christ though

Rick, that’s what I was intimating. His game tape is so bad that I thought only an FCS or G5 program would offer him. We’ll see what happens in Provo because he’s not unseating Retzlaff as a starter no matter how good he looks in practice.

Also, I saw enough raw talent, particularly arm strength, from Isaac to see his potential in CFB. He can be a great QB but is soooo raw. I could see him getting picked up from multiple P5 schools.

I do think that if Utah wanted him back (and who knows if he entered the portal on his own volition or if Beck asked him to leave), his best place would have been to stay here.

He couldn’t make the kessel run in less than 12 parsecs but he sure would hold onto the ball until the whole galaxy collapsed on him.
