    I don’t know if Pirtle is better, but both are needed. This year and especially next.

      I’m just throwing this out there, but is he a LB only or could he play DE at 6’1 240? Is it easier to pick up Utah’s Defense at ththe DE spit.

        Bernard is a LB. and he knows the defense. He played for Kalani, which is Whitt’a defense.
        
        Pirtle may play DE this year because he is so big and behind. BUT, it sounds like he is picking it up fast.
