I guess he has a daily radio show up in Seattle. I was actually quite impressed with him and his communication skills. I remember him as a young kid with a number of issues. He also runs a quarterback academy in the area. It sounds like he is doing well. Good for him.
He said that as Jake Eason goes, the Huskies will go. If he is on, Utah will have their hands full. If he is a bit off, Utah will be able to take advantage.
Ahhh, Jake Heaps – would someone please repost his most famous play at BYU; you know the one with the theme song from the Benny Hill show in the background? That never gets old…
I can tell you for a fact that they are going after literally anyone they can get, so long as they are somehow connected to local sports. Their radio personalities are so bad that they need to fill every minute with guests so we don’t have to hear the hosts talk.
Well I broke a rule/superstition and listened to 1280 this morning with Dolce. I kind of missed him until after that interview. What a blowhard. He should go be a Washington grad how much he loves them. It wasn’t even pragmatic.
Coincidentally, Heaps is part of a trio (Tom, Jake, and Stacy) on Seattle’s ESPN affiliate, ESPN 710. They have a daily show. It’s not different from asking other media members to come on and talk about their teams. Heaps IS from Washington. It’s just a bonus that he’s extra familiar with football here.
