he is a plus player on both ends of the floor. a 7 footer who is plus in both directions is a fantastic piece to have.
the stats love Jakob. Now, he plays limited minutes and there is no way to know if he would sustain given more minutes, but his PER, WS, BPM/RPM, and VORP all are very strong. I’m aware that those metrics aren’t perfect and you often see bad players with high ratings in them, but you never see bad players with high ratings in all of them. While individually these metrics have weakness, collectively, they paint a very full picture.
And he is just scratching the surface of his peak developmental period. Very excited to watch what this kid does in the NBA
