On the latest depth chart I noticed Broughton was not listed. And Faybian Marks is starting at the other DB spot opposite CP3. Does anyone know if Broughton’s injured and if it’s season ending?

That’s a big blow to our secondary that already seems a little shaky. Seems like Broughton has been our best DB.

Injured. Not sure if it’s season ending.

Not season ending, he is hurt though.

Lets hope JT heals up. Also of note, Daniels replaced Bam at tackle. Kaufusi will start on the DL. Marks along with Phillips give us short CBs, hopefully others will not be able to make us open to high point passes. Redding is still the PK, hopefully he just had a bad day. Phillips in kickoff return.

the way Broughton was being treated on the sideline, it looked they a dislocation of his right (?) shoulder/arm. suppose it could have been a collarbone. he finished off the parochial school game but it may just have been him talking his way back onto the field and then xrays after the game showed the issue.

for someone who has to tackle, either of those would be a tough thing to come back from right away.

Just got reported tonight that he’s done for the year. He’s under the 4 game threshold so he’ll come back as a sophomore next year.

damn, the kid was really coming into his own. I know Whitt doesn’t announce but it must have required surgery.
