104-102 vs Memphis with Zion.

I guess they all knelt during the anthem. I didn’t watch so I wouldn’t know but that’s what’s been reported.

Did anyone have a “slogan” or “cause” on their jersey?
-
Central Coast UteParticipant
Don’t know.
-
UteBrookParticipant
Tony, you wanted your site to be non-political and you are joining in the racist rhetoric with statements like that. Time to look inside yourself.
-
Tony (admin)Keymaster
How is asking if they had a slogan or cause on their jersey racist? Good grief.
-
Tony (admin)Keymaster
I actually think it is a very interesting experiment and I wonder what the reaction to NBA players putting those types of things on their jerseys will be. Silly me.
-
UteBrookParticipant
Then that is what you should have said. The quotes made it look like whatever message they had on their jersey should be disregarded. I’ve never seen you post something that was politically charged and it set me off. Especially when we “libs” have been a source of disparagement the last several weeks. Idiots in the populous are par for the course. Our leaders need to be more.

I just said it.

Personally I took it as him making fun of the 600 or so times the announcers made note of it. Kind of like when. Kind of like when Doug Williams played in a Superbowl as the 1st black QB. It isn’t racist to make light of the announcers stating that hundreds of times. By them doing so, it points out how ignorantly racist they and their network are. Which is BTW, how I took it yesterday when everyone metioned it hundreds of times.
Pay honor, pay respect but don’t patronize. That is almost the worst kind of racism.
-
EagleMountainUteParticipant
Worst kind of racism is genocide, lynchings and segregation. Which is what racism should be labeled as.
Being a horrible person isn’t reserved to one race.
Going off topic again but I felt the need to reply because labeling someone a racist for silly things is being a terrible person.

What’s with the quotes? Maybe you should move your own post to political or have one of your new “imartial moderators review it.
-
Central Coast UteParticipant
Are you sure you read it right?
-
Tony (admin)Keymaster
Crap did I use the wrong quotes? I didn’t mean to use the political ones. Just the straight ones. Damn you microsoft.

I have deleted a whole bunch of replies in this thread which fall under either off topic, name calling, or simply not beneficial to the site.
-
EagleMountainUteParticipant
Let it stay. I added to my block list. Labeling someone a racist for quotes?? Brave New World.
Systemic is actually being taken literal now.

UtahPilot47Participant
Thanks Tony.
