ParticipantIs there any update on JQJ and whether he’ll play tonight? I assume not.

ParticipantWrong. His family has asked to not use JJ.

ParticipantYa he’s going to come in and we’ll give it it to him on an inside run. He’ll get up really slow after normal contact then come off the field looking pretty normal. Two possessions later he’ll trot back out, take two handoffs and then get up REALLY slowly and hobble off of the field, never to be seen again that game.
Why so specific you ask? Oh… no reason.

ParticipantHe doesn’t shy away from the contact either. Especially when some small ass safety grabs onto his leg and hangs on for dear life.

Ute Dub
ParticipantHe’s suffering from Turf Toe that won’t go away and usually takes a long time to heal.

ParticipantHey don’t tell me tell our staff who seemingly haven’t figured that out yet.

ParticipantFear not, we still have Glover to go up the middle for a solid 1 or 2 yards. (Unless it’s 4th and less than 1 that is)

ParticipantHow bizarre it is. We started the year with the deepest RB room from what I can ever remember and are now limping again barely a month into the season.
JJ – Maybe at 70%
Glover – trying to fight 7 or 8 guys in the box
Curry – ???
Micah – Scooter accidentSo we went from 4 special players to 1 that we’re asking the world of. What a wild roller-coaster ride it is to be a college football fan.

ParticipantJJ is really who we’ve should have been talking about all week. If he’s healthy, our run game is significantly better, even when the D is stacking the box. I’m hoping he’s a go tonight. If not, it could be an ugly game.
