If it weren’t for JT Daniels getting knocked out of the Utah game, Utah probably wins that game. I think once the new QB came in, Utah played the odds and figured it was just a matter of time until the new QB started making turnovers with those 50 50 balls. So Utah played an inviting secondary to facilitate those perceived risky passes. And it backfired.
Thought I’d mention the obvious in case anyone wanted to relive that horrible game.
Agree with your assessment, but it was Kedon Slovis that Fotu knocked out of last year’s game, not JT Daniels. Slovis will return this year and is probably Qb1 at this point, which could be why Daniels is transferring.
JT Daniels got knocked out of USC’s game with Fresno State. Kedon Slovis started for SC and got knocked out. Matt Fink finished the game. Utah has not played a snap against Daniels.
