Kuz had good stats again, with TO as the only exception. 8/14 total; 5/7 from 3-pt; 5 reb; 2 ast; 1 st; 1 blk; 4 TO. Good shooting from the 3.
This is not a knock. In tonight’s 2nd half, after Lonzon left, Kuz looked lost and commited turnovers — so did rest of the Lakers. The point is that Kuz can be a terrific complementary player, but cannot be the engine. He “became” the player that we knew at Utah. That’s ok. Given his attitude, he’ll continue to improve.
