I can’t believe how good he’s been! Just imagine if he had played this well in college.

Is there any way the Jazz can steal him away? That would be incredible.

Just saw the final score great news for the Jazz.  They were threatening the Jazz last night to with a 9 man squad and he had a great first quarter.  Walton’s subs of Kuzma were weird and he was absolutely schooling Ingles all night.

      Additionally:

Kuzma is the first rookie in NBA history with 1,200 points, 450 rebounds and 150 3-pointers in a season. He made a 3-pointer and a sky hook to start overtime and give the Lakers a lead they would not relinquish. Los Angeles outscored the Spurs 14-4 in the period.

the problem with Kuz in college was simply that the college game is too contested to do anything on offense. The college game, the way it is played, and it’s rules, stifle offensive talent. the players are more packed in because of the closer 3 pt line. The zones they play are completely different than the NBA because of certain rules…

It is really hard to play his style of offense when the other team is playing a zone defense.

He’s also improved his outside shot tremendously. His shot always looked good so you could see the potential but it never translated completely at the college level.

As much as I like to support fellow Utes, I struggle with Kuz.  It was clear last year that he was phoning it in.  He speaks highly of always being a Ute, but the Ute way is always fighting.  I just didn’t see that in him last year.  Larry has taken not so subtle jabs at him throughout the course of this year, telling me that what I was seeing was legit.  Just my two cents.  I would never wish him anything but good things, but I do struggle with getting excited about what he’s doing knowing full well he chose not to do that for us.

Lakers are not going to give up the steal of the draft.
