He’s gone. He’s more gone than Poeltl was.

Disagree. I don’t think he’ll score well. What he’s doing is easy, free, and gives you professional feedback on what you need to work on. I’m surprised every college player doesn’t do this after every season.

Bottom line is he’s not a first rounder, so I think he’ll come back and make a play for guaranteed money.

This may be the most stacked NBA draft in history. He will be back when he is given a late second round grade.

Nope.  He’ll test poorly.  His off the ball game is week, especially on offense.  The NBA is all about the O.  His outisde shot is questionable for that level and his inability to set good hard screens tells me he’ll be back next year. Not only that, but I will go out on a limb and say he will not end up making the NBA.  He’ll be drafted, next year, but be cut or moved down to the D league.

He’s a Ute, so I hope I’m wrong.  But that is my two cents.

My guess is he will not get a draftable grade/

I wish him well whatever he does.  I feel if he does try to go pro now he’ll very possibly not be in the NBA right away, playing in the D-league or in another country.  He is graduating in a few months which is something that will be of benefit long after he’s too old to make a living playing hoops.

At his age, he absolutely should test the waters.  If he can get an early second round with the right team I think he can make it.

The difference in a contract from the first and second round is extremely drastic. I would not go pro unless I was going to be drafted in the first round.

I’ve seen him early in the 2nd in several mocks.

Me too.  It doesn’t hurt to test the waters.  He can switch back to college 10 days before the draft.  At his age he is no spring chicken and scouts in the NBA have a bit of an attitude on college seniors.
