      How does Ed Orgeron not win this going away?  He lived up to the very high expectations the media had for LSU this year

      Finally beat Bama – Check

      With SEC             – Check

      #1 ranked            – check

      near record-high graduation rate at LSU  – check

       

      Let’s be honest. kwhitt came up short. Utes were favored in the PAC12 championship game and just got prison raped from start to finish.

      The trophy embodies three phases; scholarship, leadership, and integrity, both on and off the field. Meaning, it’s subjective. It’s an honor for Utah’s coach to be nationally recognized and honored. No scandals like Baylor, Arizona, USC, Penn State, Ohio State, etc.

      Whittingham does more than Orgeron does with less. It’s a fact. With Utah’s roster, Orgeron would never win 11 games.

        Lol… I knew this argument was coming.

        How about Orgeron recruits better than kwhitt – thus is a better coach.  Somehow, ute fanboys think that recruiting is not part of coaching….in fact it’s 50% of coaching.

          When was the last time LSU didnt recruit better than Utah? If you want to act like brand name and money dont play a factor in recruiting than your extremely naive. The fact is, Utah’s recruiting has improved greatly under whittingham. LSU is on par under orgeron compared with previous LSU coaches.

          Do you deny any of this?

      Question pace, what do you think Whit’s recruiting classes would look like if he took the HC job at SC? According to your dumb analysis Whit becomes a top ten recruiting coach overnight.

      why?  LSU = SEC standard name brand.  The coach of the year is relative to expectations.  Something you should also consider.
