ParticipantHUUUUGE!! The only commit I cared about honestly. I think he might be the best Barton. Which is saying a lot.

ParticipantGood thing Utah hit a stride in October while Texas did a nose dive.

ParticipantI saw Blair Angulo put in a crystal 🔮 for him today. Gotta say I’m super happy about this one.

BlockedI love how no one sent angry messages, inquiring about the source of this news, referring to the person who posted the message as a troll. It is refreshing.

ParticipantAbsolutely massive recruiting win. Love the Barton family. They’ve been so, SO good for UofU athletics, and unlike other legacy recruits – they are LOYAL.

ParticipantGreat news! Excited to see him at the U. I love how low-key his commitment was too.

ParticipantYep, highly recruited, yet doesn’t even care about the pomp and hype. This is a true “put your head down and work” kind of guy. Love it.

KeymasterIs this where we are supposed to complain about not getting the good in-state recruits?

ParticipantI would have waited for a different thread but since you brought it up: There are 5 kids rated as 4 star in Utah for the 2022 class and the only one committing to the hill comes from a kid whose parents were graduates, who has a sister on the volleyball team, and who has two older brothers who have already gone through the program and are in the NFL.
I’m glad he committed but this signing doesn’t really point to a newfound ability to recruit in state.
