Wilson isn’t ready to lead a passing first offense. Bad game plan by the coaches.

Also, I first and foremost blame Rising.

Just another instance of Utah s**tting the bed when it counts most. The refs getting paid off didn’t help either. Put this one along with New Mexico in 2005, Boise State in 2006, TCU in 2010, and Oregon last year. I have a feeling that there’s already a book on Wilson but I don’t blame him at all. He shouldn’t be getting any reps at all this season. I blame the coaching staff for, once again, completely f**king up the QB room. This is a bad, bad loss and makes me question the rest of Utah’s season if Rising doesn’t come back to play immediately.

What really irritates me is that Kuithe will play at 75% health, Rising sits our because he’s not 100%.

Yes, well, as I posted recently, that must be some hell of a cut to not be healed after two weeks.

The only thing I would say is that I don’t think they believe Bernard can stay healthy getting the kind of workload JJ did last season and they’re very worried about that because all of the other RBs are not producing in practice or the game apparently. This is probably why you had some of those drawn up QB runs. Mitchell tonight had 2 carries for 0 yards. RB is a huge problem beyond Bernard.

I do not understand how Whitt allowed us to go into the season with this RB room. Outside of Bernard we have no one.

What’s frustrating is that we all knew what we had w/ Glover (which is not much) based on last season. Quinton Ganther has been fairly disappointing. It feels like we’ve lost a bit of our RB identity under his watch. And he hasn’t recruited anybody good.

We’ve had such a good track record with RBs you’d think they would be lining up to come here.

Cam Rising. He’s such a legend and I love him, but man. We grinded through last year waiting for him to come back…only so that he could continually take hits this year that he should’ve been avoiding. The coaching staff clearly coached him to do that. Finally caught up to him against a bad team at home w/ a 23-0 lead on 1st down on their side of the field. Just really painful to think about.
