      Southern Utah as a 16seed playing in Dayton.

      The Thunderbirds had a very good team about 15 years ago (had a point guard named Monaco and forward named House), came in and won in the Hunty in pre season and ended up winning their conference tourney.   As a 14 seed to the big dance, gave Boston College a very competitive game losing by just 3.

      Our son was attending SUU at the time and was in the band and got to make the trip to New York which was a lot of fun for him.

        Very cool. I love NCAA basketball and the stories surrounding it.
